Silverflame Ritual puts a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control and gives your whole team lifelink until end of turn — for four mana at sorcery speed, that's a lot of board-wide impact. It's a bulk rare for a reason, but in a wide creature deck it can stabilize a race or push lethal out of nowhere.

Silverflame Ritual is a Commander card through and through — the wide boards that make both halves relevant are common there, and the lifegain can matter in multiplayer races. In Pauper it's legal but competes with more efficient pump spells and sees essentially no play. Modern, Pioneer, and Legacy have no realistic shell for a four-mana sorcery that doesn't win the game outright, so Silverflame Ritual is irrelevant in those formats. Oathbreaker could find use for it in a tokens build, but the same caveats about speed apply.
