Sigardian Priest taps to tap a non-Human creature an opponent controls — repeatable, free interaction stapled to a 1/2 body for one white mana. The rate is real in Human-tribal decks where it comes down turn one and gums up attackers all game, but it's a do-nothing in any shell that isn't leaning hard on the creature type.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Sigardian Priest earns its slot exactly once: in a Human-tribal deck where the tap ability can be activated repeatedly and the body contributes to synergies like Champion of the Parish or Thalia's Lieutenant. Outside that context, a 1/2 that taps a creature is too slow and too narrow to compete with actual removal. In Pauper it's legal but sees no play — white has better one-drops and the format's threats aren't answered cleanly by a tap effect. Modern, Legacy, and Vintage all ignore Sigardian Priest entirely; the power floor in those formats is just too high for a conditional tapper.

Price data isn't available for Sigardian Priest at the moment, but as a narrow tribal common it almost certainly sits under $0.50 at any retailer. Pick it up as a bulk inclusion if you're building Humans — there's no reason to hunt for a deal on a card at this price point.
