Sick and Tired puts two -1/-1 counters on a creature for two mana, or splits them across two targets — flexible, instant-speed removal that trades poorly against anything with more than two toughness. It's a combat trick at best and a blank against most Commander-sized threats.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Sick and Tired is too narrow — three players means three boards full of threats, and two -1/-1 counters rarely kill what needs to die at that power level. Pauper is where it has the most plausible home, particularly in -1/-1 counter synergy shells or infect-adjacent strategies where spreading counters has compounding value. Legacy and Vintage both have access to it but will never run it; the competition at two mana is simply too deep. Sick and Tired is a Pauper-first card that Commander players should pass on.

Price Context
Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Sick and Tired is deep bulk — the price reflects the demand, which is low. Nothing about its power level or format presence suggests it appreciates, so don't sit on copies expecting upside.
