Commander is where Sibsig Muckdraggers earns its keep — multiplayer games mean three opponents' graveyards are also valid targets, so you can reanimate the best creature at any table. In Modern and Legacy, reanimation at four-plus mana faces stiff competition from spells that cheat creatures in for less work, and the delve cost requires dedicated graveyard support that those formats reserve for faster strategies. Pioneer has fewer broken graveyard enablers, so the cost stays higher on average and the card rarely makes the cut over cheaper recursion. Vintage simply has better options at every point on the curve. Sibsig Muckdraggers is a Commander card through and through — the slower pace, larger graveyards, and creature-heavy tables make the delve cost trivial and the ETB trigger immediately impactful.
