Secret Rendezvous puts three cards into each of two opponents' hands for three mana — raw card advantage handed to the table, not to you. It's a Group Hug staple that earns its slot when your commander, like Gluntch, the Bestower, converts opponents' card advantage into benefits for yourself.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Gluntch, the Bestower
Gluntch, the Bestower hands out counters and card draws to opponents, then punishes them for it — Secret Rendezvous feeds exactly that engine, stacking the triggers that turn generosity into pressure.

Shadrix Silverquill
Shadrix Silverquill's ability requires giving an opponent something beneficial each attack, and Secret Rendezvous slots cleanly into that political framework, building goodwill while keeping the table focused away from you.

Breena, the Demagogue
Breena, the Demagogue grows whenever an opponent draws beyond their usual rate, and Secret Rendezvous dumping three cards into two opponents' hands is one of the fastest ways to stack those +1/+1 counters.

Iroh, Tea Master
Iroh, Tea Master rewards players for drawing cards in ways that create mutual benefit, making Secret Rendezvous a natural fit that converts a three-mana spell into a table-wide trigger factory.

Ms. Bumbleflower
Ms. Bumbleflower turns every spell that benefits opponents into a resource, and Secret Rendezvous is one of the most efficient ways in white-blue to dump cards onto the table and trigger that effect twice simultaneously.

Secret Rendezvous is a Commander card through and through — the political calculus of choosing which two opponents to benefit only matters in a multiplayer game. In Legacy, Modern, or Pioneer, giving opponents cards is strictly losing; there's no Gluntch trigger or Breena counter to offset the loss. Oathbreaker shares enough of the multiplayer politics to make it marginally viable, but the card still asks a lot for a three-mana investment with no immediate board impact. Play Secret Rendezvous in Commander and nowhere else.

Price Context
Current price
$0.34 bulk tier
At $0.34, Secret Rendezvous is firmly bulk — cheap enough to throw into any Group Hug list without a second thought. Demand is narrow enough to keep the price flat; don't expect movement unless a new high-profile Gluntch-style commander spikes interest.
