Sanctified Charge pumps your entire team +2/+1 and grants first strike until end of turn — a combat trick that can flip a board state when you have the numbers. Six mana is steep for a one-shot effect, and that cost keeps it out of competitive lists.

In Commander, Sanctified Charge is a token-deck finisher — you're casting it on a board of ten or more creatures and ending the game, not using it as a reactive trick. It sees essentially no play in Legacy, Modern, or Pioneer, where six mana for a temporary pump with no card advantage is unplayable against faster, more efficient threats. Pauper is its most legitimate non-Commander home, where the card pool is constrained enough that a pump spell with two modes can matter in a tokens or go-wide build. In Oathbreaker the compressed game length makes six mana harder to justify, but white go-wide strategies with the right signature spell can still slot it as a closing punch.

Price Context
Current price
$0.04 bulk tier
At $0.04, Sanctified Charge is deep bulk — the kind of card that comes in precon repacks and trade binders without moving price. Don't expect that to change; there's no scarcity or competitive demand to push it higher.
