Ryan Sinclair
Legendary Creature — Human
Whenever Ryan attacks, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card. You may cast the exiled card without paying its mana cost if it's a spell with mana value less than or equal to Ryan's power. Put the exiled cards not cast this way on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Ryan Sinclair trades an action for a card and gives a creature haste, which is a real two-for-one when you need to attack immediately or close a loop. Fire Lord Zuko decks run it because the haste grant matters more than the body, and the draw keeps your hand from collapsing.

Fire Lord Zuko
Fire Lord Zuko wants attackers online immediately, and Ryan Sinclair's haste grant plus cantrip does exactly that — you lose no tempo playing it, and the replaced card keeps the engine turning.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Ryan Sinclair is a Commander card through and through — the effect is too incremental for Legacy or Vintage, where the bar for a three-mana do-nothing-on-board is essentially zero. In Commander, haste enablers that replace themselves are legitimate role-players, especially in aggro or combat-centric builds that live and die by summoning sickness. Oathbreaker is the only other format worth considering, and only if your planeswalker win condition involves attacking fast.
