In most decks it's a fine combat trick, but in Zada, Hedron Grinder it copies to every creature you control, turning a board of tokens into a same-turn lethal swing.

Rush of Adrenaline is legal in every major format but rarely sees competitive play outside Pauper and Commander. In Pauper it can show up in red aggro as a finisher that pushes damage through blockers, though it competes with Temur Battle Rage for the same slot and usually loses that fight. In Commander, the card is almost entirely a Zada, Hedron Grinder card — outside of copy-spell shells, a single-target +2/+1 and haste isn't enough impact to justify a slot in a 100-card deck. Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer have faster, more versatile pump spells that make Rush of Adrenaline irrelevant at those tables.
