Rubblebelt Braggart enters as a copy of your biggest creature — no mana investment beyond the four-mana cast, just an instant board doubler for whatever already dominates your battlefield. The ceiling is enormous in go-wide or single-threat creature decks, and the floor is still a clone effect at a fair rate.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Rubblebelt Braggart does its best work in decks that reliably have one massive creature on board — think Voltron shells or stompy lists where copying the biggest threat doubles your pressure immediately. Outside Commander, the four-mana cost is a liability in faster formats: Modern and Pioneer have Clone variants that offer more flexibility or cost less, and Rubblebelt Braggart's condition of copying only your largest creature is too narrow to compete with premium shapeshifter options. In Standard and Pauper it's a legitimate roleplayer where creature-copy effects are thinner on the ground, and any deck that consistently lands a dominant beater by turn three or four will get real value from it.

$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Rubblebelt Braggart is deep bulk — you're paying almost nothing for a legitimate effect. Bulk commons and uncommons at this price rarely move unless a format spike drives sudden demand, so treat it as a cheap pickup, not a spec.
