Rolling Temblor

In Commander, Rolling Temblor fills the role of a cheap, repeatable sweeper for small creatures — the flashback makes it genuinely two removal spells for five mana spread across two turns, which is a real rate in a format where token decks and elf-ball lists run rampant. Legacy and Vintage have faster, more efficient options and creature quality is high enough that a 2-toughness ceiling often misses the most dangerous threats, so Rolling Temblor rarely sees play there. Modern is the one non-rotating format where it occasionally finds a home in sideboard slots targeting go-wide aggro or creature-heavy combo pieces, though dedicated sweepers usually outcompete it. It's legal in Oathbreaker and functions similarly to its Commander role — solid against token strategies, underwhelming against anything bigger.
