Ritual of Restoration returns an artifact from your graveyard to your hand for one white mana — that's the whole card, and it's exactly what it says on the tin. Narrow but free from ambiguity: if you need cheap artifact recursion at common, this does it.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Ritual of Restoration occupies a fine but forgettable niche — white artifact decks can use it, but Argivian Find and Restoration Specialist do the same job with more flexibility or a better body attached. Pauper is where Ritual of Restoration earns real consideration, since the card pool is shallow enough that one-mana artifact recursion at instant speed is actually notable. In Legacy and Vintage the effect is simply too small to register alongside the format's raw power. Oathbreaker mirrors Commander: playable in the right shell, cut for something better in most others.

Price Context
Current price
$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Ritual of Restoration is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and shipping, not the effect. Price stability is guaranteed in the sense that there's nowhere lower to go, but don't expect it to appreciate.
