Riku of Many Paths copies spells whenever you cast from a graveyard or exile, turning every flashback, cascade, or adventure into a two-for-one without spending extra mana. The cost is a three-color identity in Temur that demands a deck built to feed the graveyard and exile zones consistently.

Riku of Many Paths is fundamentally a Commander card — the copy trigger compounds over a full game in ways a 60-card format rarely allows. In Legacy and Vintage, the graveyard and exile themes it rewards already have faster, more redundant engines that don't need a five-mana creature to close the loop. Modern and Pioneer have the tools to abuse it in theory, but competitive decks in those formats aren't looking to invest five mana in a value engine that does nothing the turn it enters. Commander is where Riku of Many Paths earns its slot: a single extra copy of a Chaos Warp, a Mulch, or a big sorcery from the yard can swing the table, and the Temur color identity gives you exactly the spell density to make that happen every game.
