Revelation of Power deals damage equal to your devotion to white and gains you that much life — on an instant, meaning it can close out a game or stabilize at end of turn. It's a clean payoff for dedicated white-devotion builds and a bulk card everywhere else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Revelation of Power earns its slot only in white-devotion decks that can reliably push devotion into double digits — think Heliod, Sun-Crowned or Nyxbloom-adjacent white lists where the damage and life gain become game-ending numbers. In Pauper it's legal but white-devotion aggro has better finishers. Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage all have enough redundancy and power that Revelation of Power never competes for a slot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.14 bulk tier
At $0.14, Revelation of Power is deep bulk — pick it up for pennies if you're building devotion. Bulk rares rarely move unless a format shift suddenly makes devotion-count payoffs competitive, so don't expect the price to budge.
