In Commander, Restless Bones occupies a narrow role — it belongs in zombie tribal or aristocrats decks that want cheap, repeatable ways to push damage through or stabilize life totals in a pinch. Outside of those shells, the effect is too situational to justify the slot against stronger draw or removal options. In Pauper, a one-mana combat trick with two relevant keywords is worth testing in black aggro, where eking out damage and gaining life against burn-heavy matchups actually matters.
