Redcap Raiders enters as a 3/2 with haste and swings for 4 the turn it lands if you control an artifact or token — that's immediate board pressure for three mana. Solid rate for aggressive green shells, and the floor is still a hasty 3/2 if you're light on artifacts.

In Commander, Redcap Raiders earns a slot in go-wide token or artifact-creature strategies where triggering the +1/+1 bonus is trivially easy — Treasure tokens alone make the condition near-automatic. In Pauper it's a legitimate threat in green stompy or artifact-synergy decks where haste is rare and the 4-power attack on turn three closes games fast. Modern and Pioneer have enough three-drop competition that Redcap Raiders doesn't crack those lists without a dedicated artifact shell, and Legacy and Vintage don't need it. This card's ceiling is Pauper and budget Commander; everywhere else it's outclassed.
