Reconstruction is a one-mana sorcery that returns a target artifact from your graveyard to your hand — clean recursion, no frills. The floor is low and the ceiling is whatever artifact you lost that mattered most.

In Commander, Reconstruction earns a slot in artifact-heavy decks that cycle through their graveyard repeatedly — think Breya, Etherium Shaper or any Daretti, Scrap Savant shell where getting back a key piece at instant speed would cost more elsewhere. Pauper is where Reconstruction has the most competitive footing, since the artifact recursion pool at common is shallow and one mana is a real rate advantage. Legacy and Vintage have access to better options at the same cost, so Reconstruction doesn't see play there in earnest.
