Reckless Imp is a 2/2 flying Zombie that taps itself unless you control another Zombie — a real cost that makes it a liability outside tribal. Inside a Zombie deck, the downside evaporates and you get a cheap, evasive body that closes games in the air.

Reckless Imp is a Pauper-legal common, which is where it has the most competitive footing — Zombie synergy payoffs at common density are scarce, and a two-mana flier is genuinely ahead of the curve there. In Commander, it slots exclusively into Zombie tribal builds where the tap restriction is a non-issue and evasion on a two-drop fills out a low curve. Every other Constructed format has access to strictly better two-drop fliers, so Reckless Imp rarely earns a slot outside of tribal or budget constraints.

Price Context
Current price
$0.23 bulk tier
At $0.23, Reckless Imp is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not demand. It won't hold or gain value, but for a Zombie tribal slot it costs almost nothing to pick up.
