Rebel Informer lets you put any Rebel from any library on the bottom of its owner's deck at instant speed for three mana, a niche but repeatable disruption tool that also searches itself out via the Rebel chain. The effect is narrow enough that Rebel Informer only earns a slot in dedicated Rebel-tribal shells — outside that context, it's a 1/3 with a situational tap ability.

Commander is the only realistic home for Rebel Informer, and even there it demands a Rebel-tribal build to justify the slot — Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero decks are the canonical shell, using the chain to tutor Rebel Informer out and deploy its disruption on demand. In Legacy, where the Rebel chain saw fringe play, the effect was always considered too slow and too matchup-dependent to see serious use, and the format has long since moved past it. Vintage is technically legal but the card is functionally irrelevant there. Rebel Informer simply doesn't exist in Modern, Pioneer, or Standard.
