Razorgrass Screen enters the battlefield and immediately deals 1 damage to each opponent — that's the whole pitch, and at one mana it's a passable rate in storm or pinger-style shells that count each spell cast. Outside of decks that explicitly want that trigger repeated or counted, it's a forgettable artifact with no staying power.

In Commander, Razorgrass Screen earns a slot only in decks that care about the enter-the-battlefield ping itself — Nekusar-style group-slug builds, Vial Smasher the Fierce lists looking for cheap spells, or storm payoff decks that want low-cost artifacts to chain. Everywhere else, 1 damage split across three opponents is too diluted to matter. In Pauper, the one-mana cost is more meaningful, but dedicated burn or artifact decks have more efficient options and Razorgrass Screen rarely makes the cut. Legacy and Vintage have the card pool to make it a storm piece in theory, but the competition at one mana is steep enough that it never surfaces in serious lists.

Price Context
Current price
$0.08 bulk tier
At $0.08, Razorgrass Screen is deep bulk — you're not buying it so much as finding it in a trade binder. It won't appreciate; the only reason to acquire it is because your deck specifically wants it today.
