In Commander, Ravenform earns its slot as one of blue's few unconditional exile answers — the format is full of indestructible commanders and recursive threats that bounce effects simply delay, and the Bird token is an acceptable cost for that level of finality. Pauper is where Ravenform also sees real play; common-slot exile at instant or sorcery speed is scarce, and foretell gives it flexibility that most budget decks value. In Modern and Pioneer, the competition is steeper — three mana is expensive for a sorcery-speed answer in formats where the game is often decided before turn four, so Ravenform doesn't crack those lists. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient interaction, making Ravenform irrelevant there outside of fringe foretell-matters builds.
