In Commander, Rathi Intimidator fits narrow aggressive shells — primarily mono-black or Rakdos strategies that want to punch through wide boards without spending removal spells. Pauper is where it has seen the most competitive consideration, slotting into black aggressive lists that want evasion on a body. Legacy and Vintage both have access to it, but neither format is looking for a three-mana 2/1 with a conditional ability when faster, harder threats exist.
