Ramosian Sergeant is a one-mana tutor stapled to a 1/1 body — the catch is that the tutoring costs four mana, happens at sorcery speed, and only finds other Rebels. In dedicated Rebel chain decks it's the engine's ignition key; everywhere else it's a vanilla creature.

Ramosian Sergeant is a Legacy-viable card that has never seen competitive constructed play outside of Rebel tribal, where the chain mechanic was briefly a real force. In Commander it's a strict tribal inclusion — Rebel synergy is narrow enough that Ramosian Sergeant belongs only in decks built around the chain, not as generic white value. Pauper is the format most likely to support it today, since the Rebel package is all common and the incremental card advantage the chain generates is meaningful in a low-power environment. Vintage legal but irrelevant there.
