Rakshasa Vizier turns every card exiled from your graveyard into a free +1/+1 counter, which means a single Delve spell or big graveyard exile can grow it into a legitimate threat on the spot. The floor is a vanilla 4/4 for five mana, so it earns its slot only in dedicated graveyard-exile strategies.

Rakshasa Vizier is a Commander card — full stop. The graveyard-exile payoff requires a shell built around it, and 60-card formats don't have the redundancy or game length to support a five-mana 4/4 that does nothing without setup. In Commander, it slots into Sultai graveyard decks that leverage Delve, morph synergies, or commanders that repeatedly exile cards from graveyards, where it can grow well beyond its base stats over a long game. Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, and Vintage are all legal on paper, but Rakshasa Vizier will never see play in any of them — the competition at five mana is merciless and the payoff is too conditional.

Price Context
Current price
$0.16 bulk tier
At $0.16, Rakshasa Vizier is deep bulk — pick it out of a dollar bin or grab a playset for less than a pack. Demand is narrow enough that the price isn't going anywhere, but for the right graveyard-exile build it's essentially free inclusion.
