Radha, Coalition Warlord

Commander is where Radha, Coalition Warlord actually gets to do her job — token strategies and go-wide aggro decks in Gruul or four-plus-color builds can reliably trigger her ability and channel the bonus into a trample threat or an unblocked evasion creature for a lethal swing. In 60-card competitive formats like Modern, Legacy, or Pioneer, a four-mana 3/3 with a conditional combat trigger is simply too slow and too fragile to see play alongside dedicated combat payoffs that cost half as much. Oathbreaker is the closest analog to Commander in terms of casual multiplayer context, where her trigger is easier to fire consistently, though the 20-life starting total compresses the window in which buffing one attacker actually closes a game.
