Quick-Draw Dagger turns any creature into a one-mana looter — equip for one, attack, draw a card, discard a card. It's a fine inclusion in aggressive or equipment-matters decks that want incremental card flow on a cheap, repeatable body.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Quick-Draw Dagger earns its slot specifically in equipment-matters decks where free or reduced equip costs make the loot trigger genuinely cheap — outside that context, one mana to equip plus needing to attack makes it too slow against a table of three opponents. In Pauper it's more interesting, where creature-based aggressive decks can use cheap, repeatable looting to filter toward threats without spending card equity. In Modern and Pioneer the competition from zero-equip-cost equipment and stronger cantrips is steep enough that Quick-Draw Dagger rarely makes the cut outside a dedicated equipment synergy shell. Legacy and Vintage simply have better options at every point on the curve. The card is legal everywhere relevant, but its natural home is Commander's dedicated equipment strategies.

$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Quick-Draw Dagger is deep bulk — easy to pick up in any common box or throw into a trade pile without a second thought. Bulk equipment with narrow applications doesn't appreciate; buy it to play it, not to hold it.
