Quakefoot Cyclops card art
Quakefoot Cyclops gives every creature you control haste until end of turn the moment it enters — a board-wide speed upgrade stapled to a 4/2 body for five mana. That cost is the ceiling: you're paying five for an effect that dedicated haste enablers often provide cheaper, so it earns its slot only in decks that specifically want a redundant, on-a-stick version.

In Commander, Quakefoot Cyclops fills a redundancy role in haste-matters or attack-trigger decks — Goro-Goro and Satoru, Isshin, Two Heavens as One, and similar commanders that need their boards swinging immediately. Pauper is where it actually competes on rate, since the haste-granting options at common are narrower and a 4/2 for five is less embarrassing in that context. In Legacy, Modern, and Vintage, Quakefoot Cyclops is too slow and too fragile to see real play — those formats have cheaper, stickier haste enablers at every turn. The card is legal in Oathbreaker as well, where the same Commander logic applies at a slightly smaller scale.

Price Context

Current price

$0.11 bulk tier

At $0.11, Quakefoot Cyclops is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick out of a dollar box without thinking twice. The price reflects the narrow role and the five-mana cost; it won't climb unless a haste-tribal archetype emerges that specifically wants this effect on a creature body.
