Qilin's Blessing puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature and grants it lifelink until end of turn for one white mana — clean, immediate, and cheap. It's a fine combat trick in the right shell, but at sorcery speed it loses most of its teeth outside of counter-synergy decks.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Qilin's Blessing finds its best home in decks that care about +1/+1 counters being placed — Atraxa, Praetors' Voice proliferate builds or Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper life-gain engines can extract real value from the incidental lifelink. Outside of those synergies, a one-shot sorcery-speed trick rarely pulls weight in a 100-card singleton format. In Legacy and Vintage, the card is legal but effectively invisible — the power ceiling there is high enough that a one-mana sorcery needs to do something broken, and Qilin's Blessing does not. Pauper is the most honest venue for it, where combat tricks and incremental life gain matter more and the card's efficiency reads cleaner against the format's lower threat density.

Price Context
Current price
$0.15 bulk tier
At $0.15, Qilin's Blessing is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a common box without thinking twice. That price is stable by definition; there's no meaningful demand spike coming for a sorcery-speed counter-and-lifelink effect.
