Prowling Pangolin puts a 6/5 trampler on the board for three mana — the catch is that your opponents can each exile two creatures from their graveyards to counter the effect entirely. That rider makes it nearly unplayable outside of decks specifically built to punish or ignore graveyard-light tables.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Prowling Pangolin is a trap: with three opponents each holding veto power over its resolution, you'll rarely land the body, and a 6/5 with no other text isn't worth the risk at any table running creature-heavy strategies. Pauper is the one format where Prowling Pangolin deserves a second look — graveyards are shallower and slower to fill in that format, so the tax lands harder on opponents. In Legacy and Vintage it's simply outclassed; neither format has any reason to run a conditional 6/5 when the card pool is that deep.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Prowling Pangolin is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not power. It won't hold or gain value; pick it up only if a specific build genuinely needs it, which is a short list.
