In Commander, Profit // Loss finds its ceiling in token-wide strategies where the Profit half pumps a dozen creatures while the Loss half kills off a swarm of small blockers — but even there, the combined effect rarely justifies a slot over more powerful anthem or board-clear options. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer, it simply doesn't see play; both halves are below the power threshold those formats demand, and fusion costs make it too slow. Vintage has no use for it either. Profit // Loss is a Commander-only consideration, and a narrow one at that.
