Pollen Lullaby
Instant
Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt this turn. Clash with an opponent. If you win, creatures that player controls don't untap during the player's next untap step. (Each clashing player reveals the top card of their library, then puts that card on their choice of the top or bottom. A player wins if their card had a greater mana value.)

Pollen Lullaby taps all attacking creatures and, if you have more land than any opponent, puts them to sleep until your next turn — a one-mana fog that can become a one-mana Time Walk for your opponents' combat. The land condition is easy to meet in green, making this a genuine tempo swing rather than a desperation button.

In Commander, Pollen Lullaby punches above its mana cost — stopping one player's swing entirely is strong at any table, and the sleep rider turns it into a full combat denial against the most land-rich aggressor. Legacy and Vintage have Fog effects that cost the same or less but do more, and neither format is looking for this effect anyway. Modern has no real home for it; creature-based strategies there run too fast and resilient for a one-shot tap effect to matter. Pollen Lullaby is a Commander card first, a casual-format curiosity second.

Price Context
Current price
$0.29 bulk tier
At $0.29, Pollen Lullaby sits firmly in bulk territory — you're not paying a premium for the effect. Bulk one-of uncommons with narrow play patterns don't appreciate, so grab it for a quarter out of a binder and don't expect the price to move.
