Pinnacle of Rage deals damage equal to the number of Mountains you control to each opponent — in a dedicated mono-red or land-matters shell that routinely hits 15–20 Mountains, that's a one-card near-kill for the table. The seven-mana cost is steep, but when the ceiling is "kill three opponents simultaneously," the rate is worth it.

Pinnacle of Rage is a Commander card through and through — the format's multiplayer structure turns one spell into damage hitting every opponent at once, and 40-life totals make high Mountain counts necessary rather than optional. In non-rotating competitive formats like Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer it's a non-starter: seven mana for a single-target equivalent is unplayable when Burn is ending games on turn three.
