Perrie, the Pulverizer
Legendary Creature — Rhino Soldier
When Perrie enters, put a shield counter on target creature. (If it would be dealt damage or destroyed, remove a shield counter from it instead.)
Whenever Perrie attacks, target creature you control gains trample and gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of different kinds of counters among permanents you control.

Perrie, the Pulverizer turns the counter zoo your Abzan deck already wants into a repeatable, evasive beatdown engine — each different counter type on your creatures adds +1/+1 and trample to Perrie's combat stats, so a well-stocked board makes him hit for ten-plus the turn he lands. The cost is building around counter diversity rather than raw count, which narrows your card selection but pays off hard in the right shell.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is where Perrie, the Pulverizer lives — the 100-card singleton format gives you the widest access to counter synergies across +1/+1 counters, loyalty counters via proliferate, and the various other counter types that inflate his power and grant trample. Legacy and Vintage are technically legal, but a five-mana legendary creature that needs a supporting board to threaten isn't competing in those formats. Oathbreaker is the one other format worth a mention: pairing Perrie as your planeswalker's signature spell or running him in a counter-heavy shell is plausible, though his legendary status limits him there to a supporting role.

Price Context
Current price
$0.41 bulk tier
At $0.41, Perrie, the Pulverizer is firmly bulk — cheap enough to slot into any Abzan counter brew without a second thought. Bulk rares with a specific build-around requirement tend to stay in this range unless a pushed reprint or sudden format spike intervenes, so don't expect movement.
