Path to the Festival
Sorcery
Search your library for a basic land card, put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle. Then if there are three or more basic land types among lands you control, scry 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom.)
Flashback (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)

Path to the Festival trades one of your lands for a Scry 2 and a basic replacement — it thins the deck, smooths your next few draws, and fixes your mana, all on one sorcery. Three mana is a real cost for what is ultimately a cantrip-adjacent effect, so this only earns a slot in decks that actively want lands in the graveyard or need to hit specific basics.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |

Path to the Festival is a Commander card first and foremost — the self-mill synergy, mana fixing, and library manipulation all scale up in a 100-card singleton format where consistency is hardest to come by. In Pauper it's legal and theoretically accessible, but three mana for this effect doesn't compete with the format's velocity. Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage have no interest: those formats demand efficiency that Path to the Festival simply doesn't offer. Stick to Commander, and even there, only run it when the graveyard or land-count matters mechanically.

Price Context
Current price
$0.17 bulk tier
At $0.17, Path to the Festival is deep bulk — no one is hunting copies and supply far outpaces demand. The price is stable in the way only truly unexciting cards are; don't expect movement in either direction.
