Outlaw Stitcher card art
Outlaw Stitcher enters the battlefield and immediately creates a 2/2 Zombie token for each instant or sorcery card in your graveyard — that's a board presence that scales with how much you've already done. The cost is a five-mana sorcery-speed body with no built-in protection, so Geralf, the Fleshwright decks running spell-heavy lists are the only shells where it reliably earns its slot.

Geralf, the Fleshwright rewards every instant and sorcery you cast by putting those cards to work twice — first on resolution, then as fodder for Outlaw Stitcher's enter-the-battlefield count, which can drop four or five Zombies in one swing at a developed board.

Format Analysis

In Commander, Outlaw Stitcher is a narrow role-player: it belongs in Zombie tribal or spell-slinger lists that close games by converting a stocked graveyard into a token army. Outside that context, five mana for a 3/3 with a situational ETB doesn't clear the bar in a 100-card singleton format where competition for the slot is fierce. In 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, Outlaw Stitcher is too slow and too conditional — dedicated token and graveyard strategies there have access to faster, more redundant payoffs. Standard is the one context where power levels compress enough for a five-drop with this much upside to see exploratory play, but it still needs a critical mass of instants and sorceries to fire.

Price Context

Current price

$0.08 bulk tier

At $0.08, Outlaw Stitcher is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not demand. That price is stable by definition: bulk commons and uncommons rarely move unless a format breakout drives sudden buyouts, and nothing about Outlaw Stitcher's current role suggests that's coming.
