Oakheart Dryads offers a persistent +1/+1 counter drip onto your biggest creature every time you cast an enchantment — reasonable upside stapled to a 3/3 body for three mana. The problem is that enchantment-heavy decks already have better payoffs at this slot, and a vanilla 3/3 with no immediate impact is easy to cut.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Oakheart Dryads is a fringe inclusion — it fits enchantress builds that already cast enough enchantments to trigger it multiple times per game, but it competes with more impactful three-drops like Satyr Enchanter. In Pauper, the common-legal enchantment synergy shells are real, and a 3/3 with upside isn't embarrassing at three mana, though dedicated Pauper enchantment decks tend to prefer cheaper, more explosive pieces. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer, Oakheart Dryads doesn't come close to seeing play — the enchantment payoffs in those formats are either faster or more immediately threatening. Vintage is theoretically legal but irrelevant.

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Oakheart Dryads is deep bulk — you're essentially paying for the cardboard. There's no meaningful price floor to fall through, and casual demand from enchantress brewers keeps it from disappearing entirely, but don't expect it to appreciate.
