Niblis of Dusk is a 2/1 flying spirit that triggers a +1/+1 counter on itself whenever you cast an instant or sorcery — reasonable upside stapled to a fragile, underpowered body. Three mana for a 2/1 with no immediate board impact is a bad rate in any powered environment, and the payoff requires a dedicated spellslinger shell to matter at all.

Niblis of Dusk sees essentially no play outside of casual Commander and Pauper, and even there it's fighting for slots. In Commander, it's a fringe inclusion in budget spellslinger builds — the spirit typing helps in Donal, Herald of Wings or Millicent, Restless Revenant lists that double-dip on tribal and spell triggers, but stronger options exist at every price point. In Pauper, the flying body and spell-trigger are real, but the rate doesn't compete with more efficient commons in tempo or spell-based strategies. Across Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer, Niblis of Dusk is simply too slow and too fragile to see play.

Price Context
Current price
$0.12 bulk tier
At $0.12, Niblis of Dusk is deep bulk — you're paying almost nothing, and the price reflects the demand. Don't expect this to move; it's a card you pick out of a bulk bin when building a casual spirit or spellslinger deck, not one you track or acquire speculatively.
