In Commander, Nest Invader earns its slot in token-doubler shells and devour strategies — two bodies off one card is real card economy, and the Spawn doubles as ritual-lite mana when you need to accelerate a big turn. Pauper is where it has seen the most competitive mileage, functioning as a staple in Eldrazi Spawn ramp shells that leverage the token's sacrifice ability to power out threats ahead of curve.
