Nath's Elite
Creature — Elf Warrior
All creatures able to block this creature do so.
When this creature enters, clash with an opponent. If you win, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature. (Each clashing player reveals the top card of their library, then puts that card on their choice of the top or bottom. A player wins if their card had a greater mana value.)

Nath's Elite is a 4/3 with forestwalk — relevant only when an opponent controls a Forest, which makes it dead text against half the table in most games. General Marhault Elsdragon is the one commander who actively rewards running it, but even there, a conditional evasion creature at four mana is a steep ask.

General Marhault Elsdragon
General Marhault Elsdragon grants rampage, and Nath's Elite's forestwalk means it's reliably connecting against green opponents — the two abilities stack into a legitimate threat in a mono-green or Gruul-heavy meta.

In Commander, Nath's Elite is a fringe inclusion locked to General Marhault Elsdragon decks and even there competes against evasion creatures that don't require an opponent to be on green. In Pauper it's legal but never played — a 4/3 for four with conditional evasion doesn't clear the bar in a format with better common threats. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters; Nath's Elite has no business in those formats. The card exists almost entirely as a flavor piece from a time before power creep made forestwalk a punchline.

Price Context
Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Nath's Elite is deep bulk — buy it for a penny and don't expect that to change. Niche forestwalk payoffs don't accumulate casual demand, so this stays at the floor.
