Nahiri's Wrath deals damage equal to the total mana cost of discarded cards to any number of targets — stack the discard right and it clears a board or kills a table in one shot. The cost is real card disadvantage, which means it belongs in decks that profit from the discard, not just tolerate it.

Rielle, the Everwise draws a card for each discard, so fueling Nahiri's Wrath with a fistful of high-CMC spells replaces itself immediately — you get the board wipe and refill your hand in the same motion.

In Commander, Nahiri's Wrath earns its slot exclusively in discard-synergy shells — Rielle builds, Filterstifle piles, anything that turns discarded cards into resources rather than losses. The ceiling is enormous: pitch a Blightsteel Colossus and a couple of six-drops and you're dealing 20+ damage split however you like. In Modern and Pioneer it's a fringe build-around that never broke through — the setup cost is too steep against efficient threats that pressure your hand before you can pay off. Legacy and Vintage have enough raw power density that the card has seen zero meaningful play. For constructed formats outside Commander, treat it as a casual build-around rather than a competitive option.

Current pricing data isn't available for Nahiri's Wrath, so check Scryfall or your preferred retailer for the live number. It's a build-around rare with a narrow home, which historically keeps prices modest unless a breakout Commander deck pushes demand.
