Munda, Ambush Leader digs four cards deep every time it attacks and lets you stack the top of your library with whatever Ally you need most — that's a repeatable, free effect that most tribal engines would pay real mana for. The cost is running a dedicated Ally deck, but if you're already doing that, Munda is non-negotiable.

Munda, Ambush Leader is a Commander card through and through — the Ally tribe has just enough density in the format to support a full 99, and the command zone gives you guaranteed access to the library-filtering effect every game. In competitive 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, Ally aggro decks exist but move too fast to profitably attack with a four-drop value engine; Munda never shows up there in practice. Legacy and Vintage have the card pool but no reason to choose Munda over more powerful options. Commander is the only format where this card earns its slot.
