Morbid Plunder returns two creatures from your graveyard to hand for three mana at sorcery speed — reasonable rate, real card advantage. It earns a slot in any black deck that expects creatures to die and wants them back.

Morbid Plunder is a Commander card through and through — graveyard recursion scales in a format where games go long, boards get wiped repeatedly, and two creatures back in hand can swing a late game. In Pauper it's a legitimate option in black sacrifice shells where common-slot recursion is scarce. Legacy, Vintage, and Modern are too fast for a three-mana sorcery that doesn't immediately affect the board, so Morbid Plunder sees essentially no play there.

Price Context
Current price
$0.03 bulk tier
At $0.03, Morbid Plunder is deep bulk — buy a playset for the price of a sleeve. That price is stable by default; there's no speculative demand to move it, and wide print availability keeps the floor at zero.
