Mogg Flunkies is a 3/3 for two mana — one of the best stats-per-mana rates in red — with one hard condition: it can't attack or block alone. In a deck that keeps the board populated, that restriction barely registers; in a deck that doesn't, it's a 3/3 that sits and watches.

In Commander, Mogg Flunkies slots cleanly into Goblin tribal builds — Krenko, Mob Boss and Muxus, Goblin Grandee both generate the token volume that makes the restriction irrelevant. Pauper is where Mogg Flunkies has historically seen the most competitive play, fitting into red aggro and Goblin strategies that flood the board fast enough to never notice the drawback. In Legacy and Vintage, it's too narrow to compete outside of dedicated Goblin shells, where it's a legal option but rarely the best one. Modern and Pioneer red aggro have moved past vanilla-adjacent creatures at this rate, so it doesn't see meaningful play there.

Price data isn't available at the moment, but Mogg Flunkies is a bulk common that routinely shows up in bargain bins — expect to pay pennies. It's worth picking up a copy whenever you're building Goblin tribal on a budget; there's no reason to pay more than bulk.
