Mnemonic Nexus resets every graveyard on the table — each player shuffles their entire graveyard into their library — for four mana at instant speed. It's a one-sided reset only if you're the player who benefits least from a full graveyard, which makes it a niche tool rather than a staple.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is the only format where Mnemonic Nexus earns a real conversation. Its symmetry is the central tension: in a four-player game, you're refueling three opponents alongside yourself, so it rewards decks that either win off a freshly shuffled library or run near-empty graveyards by design. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but effectively invisible — the format staples for graveyard hate cost less and do more without handing opponents back their gas. Oathbreaker is the same story as Commander at a compressed scale, worth considering only in the same narrow shells.

Price Context
Current price
$0.19 bulk tier
At $0.19, Mnemonic Nexus is deep bulk — pick it up for pennies if the effect fits your build. Demand is too narrow for the price to move meaningfully in either direction.
