Mizzium Transreliquat copies any artifact on the battlefield for three mana, then re-copies a new one for two mana each time you want to switch targets — flexible, repeatable, and colorless. The catch is that it never becomes a permanent copy, so the effect vanishes the moment it leaves the battlefield.
Format Analysis

Commander is where Mizzium Transreliquat earns its slot, specifically in artifact-heavy decks that want redundancy on their best utility pieces — a second Isochron Scepter activation window, another Sensei's Divining Top, or a mirror of whatever your opponent just deployed. In Legacy and Vintage it's far too slow and fragile against the pace of those formats; the effect exists, but better options do the same job faster. Oathbreaker can find niche use for it in the same artifact-value shells that Commander does, just with a smaller card pool to abuse.

Price Context
Current price
$0.43 bulk tier
At $0.43, Mizzium Transreliquat is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick up as a throw-in without thinking twice. That price is unlikely to move meaningfully given its narrow appeal and the absence of any competitive format demand.
