Mistform Dreamer is a 1/3 flying Illusion that can pay one mana to become any creature type until end of turn — cheap tribal enabler, easily ignored body. The upside is real in Illusion or shapeshifter-tribal shells; everywhere else, a 1/3 flier with a marginal ability is just a warm body.

In Commander, Mistform Dreamer earns its slot exactly once: in tribal decks that need another Illusion body or a flexible type-switcher to satisfy lord conditions on demand. Pauper is where it sees the most action — common Illusion synergies exist, and a 1/3 flier for two mana is a legitimate clock at that power level. Legacy and Vintage list it as legal, but neither format has any interest in a two-mana 1/3 with a conditional type-change ability. Oathbreaker is the same story as Commander — niche tribal use only.
