In Commander, Misleading Motes earns its slot in token-doubler shells and faerie tribal lists where each individual token carries more weight — Anointed Procession turns four bodies into eight, and that math gets out of hand fast. In Pauper, where commons compete fiercely for three-mana slots, four flying bodies at instant speed is genuinely above the format's curve and sees real play in token and go-wide strategies. In Modern and Pioneer the bar is too high — three mana for 4/4 worth of stats spread across four bodies doesn't compete with the format's power level. Legacy and Vintage don't want Misleading Motes at any price.
