Mishra's Juggernaut card art
Mishra's Juggernaut is a 5/3 trample for five mana that gets +2/+2 as long as you've cast a noncreature spell this turn — a conditional but achievable bonus that makes it hit like a 7/5. The base rate without the trigger is unplayable in competitive formats, so it belongs only in decks that reliably cast artifacts or instants before attacking.

Format Analysis

Mishra's Juggernaut is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but it earns a slot in almost none of them. In Pauper it's the most interesting case — artifact-heavy and spell-dense strategies exist at common, and a 7/5 trample is a genuine clock if you can consistently trigger it. In Commander, five mana for a vanilla-or-near-vanilla beater is a steep ask; the format's answers are too efficient and the competition among five-drops too stiff for Mishra's Juggernaut to justify inclusion outside a dedicated Mishra, Artificer Prodigy or artifact-spells-matter shell. In Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage, it doesn't come close to the power threshold required.

$0.08 bulk tier

At $0.08, Mishra's Juggernaut is deep bulk — the kind of card that sits in a box and gets drafted into a pile. There's no demand driver that would push this off the floor.
