Misguided Rage forces a target opponent to sacrifice a nonland permanent — no targeting, no saving with hexproof or indestructible, just gone — for three mana at sorcery speed. The cost is real: sorcery speed and opponent's choice both limit its ceiling, but unconditional sacrifice effects at common rarity are worth knowing.

In Commander, Misguided Rage fills the role of budget sacrifice-based removal in red, a color that otherwise leans on damage-based removal that bounces off indestructible or high-toughness permanents — the forced sacrifice bypasses all of that. Pauper is where it competes hardest, since the common card pool makes unconditional removal genuinely scarce and three mana is an acceptable rate at that power level. Legacy and Vintage both have access to far more efficient interaction, so Misguided Rage never sees play there. It's a Commander and Pauper card first, filler elsewhere.

$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Misguided Rage sits firmly in bulk territory — you're picking this out of a junk bin or padding a TCGPlayer order to hit free shipping. Bulk red commons don't appreciate, so there's no reason to stock up beyond what you need.
