Mesa Pegasus
Creature — Pegasus
Flying; banding (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)

Mesa Pegasus is a 1/1 flying, banding creature for two mana — functional in a narrow tribal or banding synergy shell, irrelevant everywhere else. Outside of dedicated Thurid, Mare of Destiny lists that specifically reward flying horses, it doesn't clear the bar for Commander in 2024.

Thurid, Mare of Destiny
Thurid, Mare of Destiny rewards you for going wide with flying horses, and Mesa Pegasus slots in as an on-type body that triggers that engine on a cheap curve entry.

In Commander, Mesa Pegasus sees almost no play outside of Thurid, Mare of Destiny tribal builds, where the horse creature type actually matters. Pauper is the one format where a two-mana flying creature with banding has occasionally appeared in fringe lists, though even there the rate is unexciting by current power standards. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters — Mesa Pegasus offers nothing that any other two-drop can't do better. The honest read is that this is a casual Commander card, full stop.

Price data isn't available for Mesa Pegasus at this time, but as a bulk common with negligible competitive demand, copies typically show up in the dime-to-quarter range. It's not a card you need to hunt down — any LGS bulk bin should have one.
