Masterful Flourish

In Commander, Masterful Flourish is squarely a finisher for token and go-wide decks — the keyword choice means it adapts to whatever the board state demands, whether that's flying over a stalled ground game or trample to punish chump-block strategies. In 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, it competes in a far more demanding environment: sorcery speed and a three-mana price tag make it too slow for most creature-based aggro shells, where combat tricks need to be instant-speed or free to matter. Standard is the most hospitable 60-card home if a tokens deck exists in the meta, but even there Masterful Flourish is a marginal inclusion rather than a staple. Pauper lacks the wide-board density to make a three-mana sorcery pay off consistently. The card lives and dies in Commander.
